Your Viking Home includes a limited warranty by an outside company, Residential Warranty Company (RWC). New home owners will receive a sample book of all the items covered by RWC. Feel free to contact us for questions about your warranty.
To Our Valued Homeowners and Partners:
In light of the unfolding COVID-19 events across the globe and our country, our main concern is the health and well-being of our Viking team members, our homeowners, partners, and the communities we serve.
With Governor Inslee’s stay-at-home order issued Monday evening, March 23, 2020, it has been determined by the Building Association of Washington “BIAW”, which is the state level Builder Association, that homebuilding has been deemed an “Essential Business” in Washington State and as such we will not be required to shut down Wednesday evening. All construction will proceed, business as usual.
To ensure good practice of social distancing, however, our offices, Design Center and all model homes are now closed for the next two weeks, or until the order is lifted. With that said, we remain committed to our current and future homeowners. Our office staff will continue working from home. Buyers with Design Center meetings scheduled over the next two weeks or until the stay-at-home order is lifted, will be given the option to conduct a virtual meeting. If you are one of those meetings, our Design Center Expert will be in contact with you to confirm a virtual meeting or to reschedule for a later date.
Furthermore, with the continuation of business, we will still be accepting contracts on available inventory. While our model homes are closed, all of our agents are still available to connect with virtual visits (FaceTime, Skype, WhatsApp), phone calls, texts or by email. Additionally, all of our homes, floor plans, and products can be viewed online with interactive floor plans, photos, and 3D tours.
Lastly, we will continue to assist with non-emergency Warranty matters via the website, phone, text, or email; however, all in-person communication will be suspended during the stay-at-home order. Any delay in inspection or completion of Warranty items resulting from these restrictions will not impact your Warranty coverage. Should you have a Warranty request, please fill out the form on the Service Request page on our website under the MORE tab and the appropriate team member will contact you as soon as possible to assist. If you have a warranty emergency, please call the Emergency Contact(s) provided in your homeowner’s folder at the Buyer’s Orientation.
